Newman School pupils have had some fantastic sporting results and have taken part in some great sport activities this term.

This term KS5A have been going out for activities for ‘Sport in the Community’. Sport in Community is a weekly event that covers a wide range of activities, all of which that are in the local area. Activities have so far included bike riding, bowling, walking in the park and going to the gym.

Pupils from the KS3,4 and 5 have participated in a football tournament at Winterhill School, all the team played some fantastic football and two of the squad were awarded ’man of the match’ in two separate games during the  tournament. KS2, 3 and 4 girls have visited Aston Academy for a full day of sporting activities with pupils from other schools. One of the activities that was very popular was the trampoline, the KS3 pupils particularly enjoyed it.
