Newman students recently visited Meadow Lodge, a learning and development centre near Matlock. They stayed for two nights in a six-bedroom bungalow with fully accessible bedrooms and bathrooms, a sensory room, Jacuzzi bath and took part in lots of activities including team swing and see-saw, high ropes, archery, buggies and go-carts.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Ellie 'loved it - everyone was very nice'. Patrick thought the trip was 'Wicked. When I got home I was bored!' whilst Liam 'liked everything - I liked climbing the high ropes.'. Caitlyn wanted to say to the Centre's staff 'Thank you for making our stay with you so brilliant' and Louisa also said 'Thank you, I did enjoy everything - I had a fun time at Meadow Lodge'. Lucy also enjoyed the facilities -' I liked the bathroom - I had a jacuzzi bath!'.
