Ever read a book from back to front?

MissK

missk2Take a look at Nathan's book series - Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid! They're a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Coolkyoushinja. First printed in a magazine in 2013, the series has now also been made into an anime television series.

Manga are comics created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language. Anime is a Japanese term for hand-drawn or computer animation. The word is the abbreviated pronunciation of "animation" in Japanese.

As you can see from the video below, the books are read from back to front and from top right to bottom left.

In the series, Kobayashi meets a large dragon outside her apartment. The dragon transforms into a maid and introduces herself as Tohru. Kobayashi had removed a holy sword from Tohru's back, earning her gratitude. Having no place to stay, Kobayashi offers to let the dragon stay at her home and become her personal maid. Tohru works hard to serve her mistress, but there are lots of things she can't get quite right. The story takes a look into the daily life of office-worker Kobayashi and her novice maid in this comedy fantasy story.
