On Wednesday we visited Ulley park. The sun was shining (for once) and the lake was gorgeous, even though the place itself was blooming freezing. Tragically, however, there didn't seem to be a café, meaning that the four of us had to sit through hours of tea withdrawal before finally getting our evening fix.
The walk itself was pretty good, and we even saw a fat red robin blocking the path. Unfortunately the crimson-bellied fiend refused to move until we had taken a picture of it before flying snootily into the aether (see photos). Whenever I close my eyes, I can still see it twitching its wings. Goading me. Mocking me.
