Start a diary about what you’re doing whilst off school. Try and update this each day.
Look around your house. Can you make sets of 10 things. For example 10 spoons.
Look outside your bedroom window. Write me a list of all the things you can see.
Look around your house. How many blue things can you find? Write a list
Share a story with a member of your family.
Practice reading and writing your high frequency words.
Make an Easter card for somebody special.
Walk safely to the shop with an adult.
Write down the letters of the alphabet in order. Can you find something in your house/garden that begins with each letter?
Complete some activities on conquer maths.
Do you think we should all wear a school uniform? Write a persuasive letter to Mr Silvester arguing for or against. Remember to use AFOREST
Write a list of all the things in your house that need electricity to work.
Write out the numbers 0-20 on some paper or card, cut them out and then ask an adult to mix the numbers up- don’t peek. Then, see how quickly you can put them into the correct order. You could ask someone to time you and then see if you can get faster when you try again.
To challenge yourself you could do this counting in 10s too.
Can you help wash and dry the pots?
Ask a grown up to tell you a number. Place this many number of raisins, cereal pieces (or anything you may have lots of). If your adult says ‘one more’ can you add one more and say the number you have now? If the adult says ‘one less’ can you eat one (take one away) and count the number you have left.
With a little help from an adult write me a short story explaining what made this dog turn green
Can you help with preparing your lunch?
Find a flower/plant in your garden. Can you correctly label these parts? Stem, petal, roots, leaves, flower and pollen.
Now draw, colour or paint a picture of this flower.
