Write a list of the days of the week and months of the year, all with capital letters.
Read a book, magazine or comic for 15 minutes. Practise copying neatly 5 sentences from the text you have read.
Write a shopping list of all your favourite foods, and try to work out the cost of them using the internet or ask an adult. Draw a picture of your favourite meal and label.
Practise writing the numbers 1-20 as words e.g: 1- one Write your birthday in full. For example: Third of July two thousand and two. (3.7.2002)
Help with a chore. Write a diary about what you did and how you did it. Ideas are:
e.g. Hoovering, Polishing, Washing up, Stacking the dishwasher, Changing the beds, Gardening
Go on Conquer Maths for 30 minutes then play games on Cool Maths.
Design a new book cover for your favourite book or a film poster for your favourite film.
Make a sandwich, snack or meal. Write instructions so that a friend could make what you have made. Think about every step! Take a photo if possible.
Write a note to a friend explaining what you have been doing this week. Write at least five sentences and remember full stops and capital letters. Also remember capital letters for names and places
Conquer Maths for 30 minutes then play games on Cool Maths.
Make a Powerpoint or poster about your favourite T.V show, film or pop star. Research on the internet if you can.
Ask an adult about the skills they use in their jobs OR research a job you may like to do. What skills would that job require?
Write a note to a friend from school telling them what you’ve been doing and how you are.
Write down some of your favourite jokes. Please keep them clean!
If you’ve got a garden, spend one hour tidying, weeding, sweeping up etc. Remember to follow the rules about social distancing and do this only if it safe to do so OR plan a garden for someone in a wheelchair. What special features could you have to make is accessible and interesting for them?
Do some PE like Joe Wicks on Youtube or play a game of football in your garden.
