At Model Village, we provide a caring, stimulating and inclusive Early Years environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and first hand experiences. We recognise that every child is unique and work closely with families to support each child’s individual development, helping them to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.

Our Early Years provision includes both Mini Models and Nursery, offering high quality learning opportunities for children from the age of two. Through a balance of adult-led activities and child-initiated learning, we help children develop the key skills they need to become happy, confident learners ready for the next stage of their education.

Admissions Criteria

Mini Models

Children can attend Mini Models in the following ways:

• 30 Hours Provision – available from after your child’s second birthday
• 15 Hours Provision – available from the term after your child’s second birthday

Nursery

Children can attend nursery from the term after their third birthday.

Session Times

15 Hours Funding

Available Monday to Friday:

• 8:45am – 11:45am
  or
• 12:30pm – 3:30pm

30 Hours Funding

Available Monday to Friday:

• 8:45am – 3:15pm

Children accessing the 30 hour provision attend for 32.5 hours per week, with the additional 2.5 hours provided at no extra charge.

Lunch and Snacks

Children attending for a full day will need to bring a healthy packed lunch.

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for all children at no additional cost.

To reserve a place for your child in Mini Models or Nursery, please telephone the school or speak to a member of the office staff to add your child’s name to the waiting list.
