Geography at Stubbin Wood

The aim of our geography curriculum:

• ensure pupils develop contextual knowledge about their local area and significant places around the world including their defining physical and human characteristics
• enable pupils to to collect, analyse and communicate with a range of data gathered through experiences of fieldwork; some pupils will learn to interpret sources of geographical information
• communicate geographical information in a variety of ways

Some pupils will develop an understanding of some geographical processes that give rise to key physical and human geographical features of the world.
