    All children and young people have the right to an education that develops their respect for the environment and to learn about their own culture and other cultures under Article 29 of the UN Convention on Rights of a Child (UNCRC)

    The aim of our RE curriculum:

    • help pupils to make sense of the world around them
    • support pupils' understanding of different religions, cultures and beliefs within their local community 
    • promote social cohesion and values of respect and empathy, tolerance and difference 
    • promote pupils' spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development
